      About tank test methods


      Butt weld inspection of storage tank: first conduct 100% nondestructive testing (RT), then penetrant inspection and air pressure (pure nitrogen) test, and finally conduct helium mass spectrometry leak detection for each weld and joint with "helium mass spectrometer leak detector".


      The container in the storage tank is pickled as a whole, and the cleanliness is treated according to the oxygen standard. It is tested by the imported ultraviolet black light lamp to ensure that there is no oil stain and other organic impurities.


      The time interval between the internal cleaning and drying of the storage tank and the assembly of the external container is less than 3 hours. After the assembly, the inner container and jacket are filled with nitrogen for protection to prevent the entry of dust and other organic impurities and ensure the cleanliness of the inner container and jacket.


      The internal and external surfaces of the container outside the storage tank shall be sand blasted to meet the requirements of sa-2.5a standard. After the steel plate surface is of metallic color, the dust adhered to the surface shall be completely absorbed by the vacuum cleaner, so as to ensure the stability of vacuum degree in the interlayer.


      The finished paint film on the outer surface of the storage tank is dense, firm and reliable, and the dry film thickness of the paint is greater than 250 μ m to ensure that it will not fade within at least 3 years.


      The interlayer insulation material is domestic high-quality pearlite, and the performance parameters are as follows:


      Air pressure test, air tightness test and helium leak detection. After the inner tank is manufactured, the air pressure test and air tightness test shall be carried out in the manufacturer, and the helium leak detection shall be carried out for the outer tank.
