Fabrication of stainless steel pipe bends for storage tanks
The fabrication of stainless steel pipe elbow of storage tank consists of the following points:
1. Stainless steel pipes must be seamless and must be purchased from large manufacturers.
2. Degrease the inner side of the stainless steel pipe (acetone + clean rag) before bending, and the butt weld must be subject to 100% radiographic inspection.
3. The elbow must be bent with the elbow mould, and the pipe diameter area after the elbow is formed shall not be less than 90% of the original pipe diameter area. The two ends behind the bend are sealed with self-adhesive tape to prevent the entry of stolen goods.
4. When bending, leave 100mm allowance at the end (extending out of the barrel).
